Through Your Eyes
Through Your Eyes is a coming-and-going-of-age drama. Blanche, a sassy senior (citizen), and her neighbor Ivory, a spit-fire senior (in high school), form an unlikely friendship. One day, Blanche asks Ivory to interview people and record their tales of love and growth. Blanche may be blind, but it’s Ivory who doesn’t see what’s coming.
Originally written in 2015 by Kaitlin Losansky for a high-school theater showcase, it won several awards including “Best in Fest”. Through Your Eyes was then extensively revised (i.e. the plot twist was completely changed) into a radio-drama styled podcast. What else do you do when there is a pandemic? This show was produced during the Covid-19 spring of 2020.
